A striking Corundum var. Ruby specimen featuring a vivid pinkish-red crystal prominently positioned on a contrasting white matrix. The ruby shows strong luster and an attractive crystal form, with a small Pyrite accent adding extra character. Under UV light, it displays an intense orange-red fluorescence, giving the specimen an impressive secondary appearance. The crystal has been repaired where it meets the matrix, but the overall quality, composition, and aesthetics remain highly impressive.
