Description

This attractive self-standing apatite crystal displays a pleasing blend of soft purple and white tones with good internal transparency. Some inclusions of dark green actinolite (var. byssolite) create a nice internal accent and add depth to the crystal. The piece is notably gemmy, and the purple-to-lilac coloration is widely regarded as the most sought-after color range for the species. Overall, the specimen shows strong natural balance and visual presence, and is especially impressive in person.
