A striking Afghanite specimen from Afghanistan featuring a tall, well-developed crystal coated in rich blue Lazurite, with a bright Pyrite cluster adding strong metallic contrast near the upper termination. Under UV light, the Afghanite displays intense orange fluorescence, giving the specimen a dramatic second appearance. Afghanite is a rare feldspathoid mineral commonly associated with the Lapis Lazuli mineral assemblage, making this combination especially interesting and visually distinctive.
